Hector iApp MIPCOM Exclusive

With MIPCOM fast approaching we are currently working flat out to have a prototype of ‘We Negotiate with Terrorists’ ready to show the list of potential partners that we have lined up meetings with in Cannes. The first installment of the series of Hector iApps ‘Badge of Carnage’ will not be available until late December, but a selected lucky few will be able to get an exclusive look at the first level of the game at MIPCOM and see what there is to look forward to in December.

Hector 1

Kevin, the lead programmer on the game, is currently working on packaging the first level of the game in a bespoke way that will allow people to sample the gameplay and get a feel for what the full verison will be like. We have a large number of meetings at MIPCOM with broadcasters, distributors, web aggregators and other production companies so the prototype will be an excellent tool in not just introducing people to the Hector: Fat Arse of the Law property but also in securing potential partnerships with people and, dare I say it, potential investment.

Hector 3

As I mentioned earlier, we are aiming to have the full game completed sometime in December with a launch at the end of the year, but the best laid schemes of mice and men, and all that. This Hector game is our most ambitious project to date, complete with original score, cinematic cut scenes, and all that carry on, so keep checking back here on the production blog for more up to date news and information on how far behind schedule we are!

Hector: the Stake Out

As we continue at break neck pace with production of the first installment of the series of Hector iApp games entitled ‘Badge of Carnage’ I thought that I would help you get to know Hector a bit better seeing as you will be pointing and clicking the crap out of him soon!

Hector: That Stakeout – is the latest animated short from Straandlooper. It features Hector and Lambert on duty during a critical stakeout in the crime capital of the UK – Clappers Wreake.
