Hector: Fat Arse of the Law made quite an impression at MIPCOM this year. The world’s largest audio-visual content market was in Cannes last week and Straandlooper were there showing off their latest wares, which included the first prototype of the Hector ‘We Negotiate with Terrorists’ iApp.
The response to all of Straandlooper’s projects, and Hector in particluar, was extremely positive. Despite MIPCOM being a relativley quiet market by all accounts, with the ripples of the global credit crunch still being felt by the animation industry, we took heart from the excellent audience responses we had to the content we took down to market.
So impressed was the Editor of Animation Magazine that Straandlooper were labelled as one of the discoveries of MIPCOM. He particularly liked our big ‘sleeper’ Hector: Fat Arse of the Law.
